Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed in The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a degree in Communications and theater. When she moved to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theatre arts, acting as well as choreographing over a dozen musical and stage productions including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at Los Angeles' award-winning Storybook Theatre. She is known for her work with Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara on The Ring 2 but is also more commonly recognized for the glamorous bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. From 2011-2015 Kelly was a paralegal during the day and a party hopper in the evening as a series regular on the TV Land sitcom The Exes. Kelly was also on the show as Alyssa's charming, smart sister in ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW series No Tomorrow. She has lent her singing voice to several animated cartoons, including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recent appearances include her as the dim yet lovable Cloud 9 employees on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. With her husband and their two children, she enjoys a quiet life.
