Maria Bartiromo, an American journalist on television and the first person to broadcast live from the New York Stock Exchange floor live. She's a widely well-known TV host with a number of famous programs. A broadcasting veteran with over 20 years of experience writing about economics and business she was instrumental in establishing the TV channel CNBC as one of the most prestigious in the business and economy segment. Her incredibly successful career as a journalist can be said to suggest that the lady was destined for this particular field. Maria was confused as a young girl about which career path to choose. Her dream was to be a singer one day and an interior designer the next. The excitement of journalism was too exciting for her not to take it seriously. Not only is she a great journalist however she serves as an inspiration for women who want a career within an industry that is heavily that is dominated by men. Named as one of the fifty Faces that Shaped the Decade she was also the first female journalist to be inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame. She is also an author and a columnist.
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (born Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn) is an American actress who is active in both film, television and the theater. An accomplished thespian, she has been active professionally from her early teens for the past 27 years. She began her career in the year 1990 with an off Broadway production called The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute was her first role on TV within a year. In 1992, her acting career launched when she was cast as a character in the film Basic Instinct. The Firm marked her first performance as a leading female actress. She was paired with Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. The 90s saw her working with many top actors in Hollywood, such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Hugh Grant. Recently she played Dr Alex Blake in the internationally well-known crime procedural Criminal Minds.
